Traveling up the California, Oregon and Washington coast on HWY 101 this spring. Four Seasons RV Resort is our first stop in Oregon and what a pleasant surprise. A small park with what appears a few semi-permanent residents but has about a half dozen pull-in sites right on the Bank of the Rogue River. Four Seasons is about 8 miles up the river from Gold Beach. Here's my Facebook post:
Another rainy day on the Oregon coast. We may extend our stay another couple of days (forecast fair and sunny) overlooking the Rogue River. Very relaxing to hear the rushing sound of the river and watching for wildlife. Not in a hurry to go anywhere. What could be better?
We scheduled two nights here but decided after the first day we would
extend for at least four days. Beautiful views, wildlife including
Osprey, Elk, Otters and seals as well as many fisherman angling for
Chinook Springers. Several of the Resort guests brought in 25 - 30 lb
salmon everyday.
We were the only RV on the river bank sites.
Woodalls Rating: WWWW (I agree based on location and recreation opportunities)
Price: $$$$ (location/season driven)
